I like to write in the morning when it's raining outside. When the words are flowing, I feel as if I'm in synchronicity with the precipitation falling from the sky. I'm thinking about my day, the past, and what's to come—all at the same time—but I'm about to hit the pavement. I've been jogging for a while now and today, even though it's pouring, will be no exception. It clears my head, strengthens my body, and enriches my soul. I know that I will get soaking wet, but that's just fine. It's only a little water in the grand scheme of life. You see, we need it to g-r-O-W!!!

ReplyDeleteJogging in vancouver is akin to smoking a mixture of marlboro, rothmans and diesel slag. Good on ya mate. Slushy rain soaks in.
